Domain Users:
- Auto login
feature, this feature allows you to save your login
information so every time you launch the application
there is no need to type in a username or password.
This gives you the ability to run the DNSApp as a
service on your Windows NT/2000 machines(s).
- NAT/Router
friendly IP address detection. If you are behind a
router/firewall using a netted internal IP address
the DNSApp will detect the external IP address and
repot that to our DNS servers. If you are behind a
router/firewall you must configure port forwarding.
See (Can I connect from behind
a firewall, NAT, or proxy?) in our FAQ area for
more information.
- Ability to
view all active DNS records for your domain.
Screen Shot
- Ability to
create independent A, MX, SRV, HINFO, CNAME, NS records
for your domain. The competition only allows you to
point all DNS requests to a single IP address.
Screen Shot
- Ability to
create sub domains off existing hosts (IE: www.web.myserver.org)
which can point to an independent IP address.
- Ability to
set IP addresses for records which are on a static
IP address without having them dynamically update
to the IP address of the machine the DNSApp is running
on.
- Multiple
server/connection monitoring . If you have multiple
servers on multiple internet connections you simply
run a separate copy of the DNSApp on each server,
specify the DNS records to dynamically monitor for
on that machine, and if the IP address changes Myserver.org
will automatically change your DNS records to reflect
the new IP address.
- Monitors
your IP address every 30 seconds. Should a change
occur the change is instantly sent to our servers
and the associated DNS record(s) are updated.
- Ability to
manage multiple domain's with one login.
Screen Shot
- Full DNS
Round Robin support. See (What
is DNS Round Robin) in our FAQ area for more information
- Exiting the
DNSApp will not remove your DNS records from our servers.
If you are somehow disconnected from the internet
or have to reboot your machine(s) rest assured, your
records will remain on our DNS server with the last
IP address received. If you need to reboot your server
you can change your DNS records to point to our convenient
server
offline message. We also provide the ability for
you to have a custom offline message hosted on our
servers. Most Dynamic DNS companies remove all your
records if you are not online or if you shut down
their application.
- MailCatcher
Services. If while your offline you receive E-Mail,
our redundant mail servers will grab your mail and
hold it for you until you restore your servers connectivity.

- Easy to use,
one step operation.
- Ability to
turn off dynamic updates and specify an address manually.
- Run multiple
instances of the DNSApp. This allows you to have multiple
web sites (provided your web server supports Host
Headers) on your machine with different web addresses.
- Ability to
set an offline page should you decide to log off the
DNS server. This prevents web browsers surfing to
your site from getting an error telling them the server
could not be contacted.
